About Us

RusticMetalArt, started as a small part time/after work operation back in 2009, in Auckland, in a double garage with a pair of tin snips and some copper sheet.

We went on to make over 4000 little copper  butteflies, geckos, jandals and maple leaf sculptures.

We then bought a hand held plasma cutter and proceeded to cut steel and copper making art products and signs.

In 2011 we purchased  a 1200x 600mm cnc system and still part time, started cutting mostly steel and occasional copper for art art to sell online.

In 2014 we moved to Nukuhou North in the beautiful, Bay of Plenty (15 mins from Ohope Beach)

Our beautiful baby Emma arrived and we decided to work from home with a nice rural outlook.

With a new workshop to work from, we purchased a 2500mm x 1250mm CNC system for cutting art and signage made from steel, corten plate and aluminium to sell online and to local shops and occasional markets.

Customised art,signs and 21st keys are a specialty.
